After graduating from Beasley, I attended Whitney Young High School and graduated in 1993. From there I earned a BS Ed in Elementary Education from Lincoln University and a MS Ed in Reading from Chicago State Universitty. In 2010, I achieved National Board Certification in Early Adolescent Mathematics. I am currently a Middle School Mathematics Teacher. I reside in Chicago with my husband and two children.
