Stumbled across the Beasley website after reading a few articles with CPS budget cuts....WOW!!!!!!!!!
Viewing photos, reading articles have brought back some great memories. So humbling to see the school is still thriving after all of these years!! Those LMC chairs reminded me of the treasured book fair days....and the excitement of President Clinton visiting us!! Mrs Pembrooke's sweet all-natural "librarian voice" The photos of Mrs Howard and the celebration of the infamous Dance Team...she looks AMAZING!!! The gardens and outdoor areas have come along way, but so awesome to see those funky walls of the band room and those crazy yellow cabinets throughout the art and dance rooms.
I'm very grateful of the experiences and life lessons learned at this amazing school. And I can only hope current and additional students enjoy their learning as much as I did!!
